Kwizillo is a learning game for children. The app collects no personal data, shows no ads and measures no behaviour. Below is exactly what happens, how long anything is kept and how you erase it all. The same text sits inside the app, in the parent zone under Privacy & safety, in all nine languages.
Kwizillo is published by [publisher: fill in legal name and address]. Questions about privacy? Write to hello@kwizillo.com; we answer within thirty days.
This sits in the app's local storage on the device. It is not sent to Kwizillo or to anyone else. It stays until you erase it, and it disappears when you delete the app or tap Erase all data in the parent zone.
Milo and Luna speak through the ElevenLabs speech service, which only our own server talks to; that service's key is never in the app. All that is sent is the sentence being read aloud: a question, an answer, a hint, a fact or a fixed game line, never your child's name and never anything else your child types. No account, device id or advertising id goes with it.
The server keeps the audio it made in a cache, so the same sentence need not be made twice. That cache holds game sentences only, no personal data. The IP address of a speech request stays in memory for at most a minute to limit abuse of the service; it is never written to disk and never shared.
Kwizillo is free to play. Premium is a subscription billed through Apple that renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your Apple subscriptions. Payment runs entirely through Apple: we see no name, address or payment details and learn only from the device whether the subscription is active. There are no purchases inside the game itself and no currency you buy with real money.
The "Share your score" button opens the device's own share sheet with a short line (name, level, number of correct answers). The button sits behind a parental gate and sends nothing to Kwizillo; where the text goes next is the grown-up's choice.
Kwizillo is made for primary-school children. Because the app collects no personal data from children, stores none on our servers and shares none, no parental consent is needed for data processing (COPPA, GDPR article 8). What the child types stays on the device. Everything that leaves the game (writing mail, sharing, erasing data) sits behind a parental gate.
You have the right to access, correct and erase personal data. In practice we hold nothing of your child's: the data is on the device and you erase it there yourself, in one tap. If you do have a question or a request, write to hello@kwizillo.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
If what the app does changes, we update this policy and change the date at the top. The screen inside the app shows that same date.
